United Cast Bar Limited exhibits at Birmingham University - 19th April 2006

United Cast Bar Limited presented and discussed the benefits of Unibar Continuously Cast Iron with Students from The Engineering Department at Birmingham University. David Hawksworth and David Beet gave a presentation at the above, based on United Cast Bar, the Company, the Unibar product range and the application of Unibar in various markets and components to a range of students both from both the UK and overseas, currently completing their final year of the Metallurgy and Materials Degree Courses. The presentation covered all aspects of United Cast Bar, technical and applications and was aimed at the educating the audience, the future potential designers, engineers, specifiers and buyers. The presentation was well received by both the staff and students alike with significant interest being shown by the students in the Unibar range of materials, applications and United Cast Bar. As a result we have been requested to do a repeat performance to the next year, and the potential of a visit the Chesterfield by the students was proposed.
